      Start slow. Doing too much at once decreases your chances of sticking to a workout plan. Try walking for 10-15 minutes at a brisk pace (you can adjust this if it is too much or too little). As this gets easier for you, increase your time by a few minutes. You want to do this most days of the week (at least 5), although it may be best to start with 3 days/week and work up from there. Set goals for yourself. For example, in one month be able to walk for 30 minutes, 4 days/week. In 2 months be able to walk for 45 minutes. As you are able to increase the time that you workout for, you will be able to burn more calories, which will help you to burn fat faster. Since you are overweight, you don't want to do too much too quickly because this could lead to sore knees, which would discourage you from working out. Another great option, that is easy on the knees is riding a bike. Good luck! Stay positive and stick to a routine and you will get the results you want.

    Every other day
    strength-

    cardio-

    stretch before and after each workout- 5-10 minutes

    I also plan to use the diet pill curvatrim that is good for women losing weight. I hope to lose 30-40 pounds in about 3 months (by Christmas)

    i'm currently on synthroid and my thyroid levels have evened out with little improvement on my symptoms. i went to gnc yesterday to get hair/skin/nails vitamins (the synthroid was claimed to be damaging to the aforementioned and i've definitely recognized a real decline in all three) and decided to ask about force factor. i heard while it's advertised as a muscle builder, it doesn't actually build muscle but rather burns fat. their workers claimed they never heard of it to do such and brought me this: http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3959234#pr-header-3959234 'oxyelite pro'. they mentioned other coworkers had extreme weight loss and energy results with it personally and from people who'd tried the free samples (which they didn't have anymore). the person helping me mentioned that she took these: http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4190908#pr-header-4190908 "woman's ultra mega active" and said the weight loss and energy weren't as intense, but still occurred and it was a healthier mix. the only person who really posted that they had weight loss on these claimed they're (according to reviews) taking these, another diet pill, and going to the gym 5x weekly so i wonder what these would do without that. although i do go to a gym at least weekly and don't eat all too horribly but am not currently on a strict diet. i went with the latter for now and took all 7 pills in the pack this morning (which is a really annoying process as opposed to just one a day in the "oxyelite". while my stomach recently (past 6 months, since being on synthroid) has become weaker and acid reflux symptoms aren't uncommon for myself, i haven't encountered any of the stomach issues other's mentioned in the reviews yet, but i don't have any fantastic amount of energy, either. neither of the two claim there's adverse affects with thyroid conditions nor did my endocrinologist mention i couldn't take something prior when i asked during my last appointment. i'm wondering if anyone's taken either of the two or has advise on the situation. i am looking for energy and weight loss. i'm also prone to anxiety problems but surprisingly have never experienced any from caffeine or diet pills before. uninterested in obvious answers such as diet and exercise, i'm aware of the concept. more so medical or personal advice on first hand results or what might work best for me personally with the listed information. i plan on continuing these for at least a week or two before making a decision as gnc claimed even if the product was depleted completely, it's still refundable if it doesn't work.

    Will I have leftover skin?
    I am a 20 year old female, about 6 feet tall and I weigh around 215. This sounds like a whole lot, but I only wear a size 14, work out almost every day, have great muscle tone and and I have giant boobs which probably contribute a lot to my weight LOL. I wouldn't consider myself obese or even fat- I am definitely overweight, but I still like my shape and nobody I know considers me fat- I am in proportion for my height!

    My freshman year of college I got down from about 210 to 160 in six months due to a carb free diet and working out a lot. My body never looked better- I wore a size 8, and I could wear a two piece bathing suit proudly and show off my flat tummy! My boobs even shrank a bit, which being an E cup, was very nice to have that load off my back!

    Now that I am on the heavier side again, I plan on getting back down to about 160 before I graduate college, so about 55 lbs of weight loss in around 9 months. I have been watching a lot of weight loss shows and seeing women with this saggy skin leftover from weight loss. The first time I lost weight, I did not have any of that problem. My stretch marks basically disappeared and I felt fine. I am just wondering if I should expect that when I lose weight this time? I plan on trying to lose 8-10 lbs a month, so I figure that isn't too fast to the point where it will be saggy like someone who has lost 100lbs with lap band surgery. Plus, I am young so I figure my skin still has a lot of its elasticity. Help me :)

      There's a chance you'll have some stretch marks, but you're definitely still young enough that you skin should have good elasticity. Keep well moisturized and even consider trying 'firming' moisturizers, as they contain collegen (which isn't proven effective, but some people swear by it).
